Gordon FraserSwimming is a sport for all ages and a thriving section of the club, which doesn't always get the limelight, is our Masters squad.

More of our members are taking an interest in getting involved in competitions and this weekend we'll be cheering on Gordon Fraser who's going be racing at the Scottish National Open Short Course Masters and Senior Age Group Championships this Friday and Saturday at the Royal Commonweath Pool in Edinburgh.

Gordon has been training with a the club for a number of years and is the doyen of the #SwimPaws - the Dads who help to set up and run our swim meets.

Working in IT, Gordon is the man who can breath life into obstreperous timing systems and knows how to get all the poolside computers talking to each other.

He's taking on 6 races in Edinburgh, entering the 100m & 200m events in freestyle, breaststroke and IM.

Our Masters sessions are lead by the North Ayrshire coaching team and are open to adults of any ages, whether you're looking to improve your strokes, work on your fitness, or, like Gordon, get involved in racing.

As we like to say: there's a lane for everyone.

You'll find details of the sessions on the website and you can get in touch through the Contact page on this site.
